This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a No.2 to an impressive and experienced Head of Finance Transformation and Program Management for a highly sought-after employer of choice.
The role offers and rare opportunity to work towards and finance transformation director role in the future and the successful candidate will be supported towards program management qualifications or other project management learning.
We are seeking a qualified accountant with a minimum of five years post qualified experience within a Finance Shared Service environment.
*Responsible for managing and supporting on allocated projects within the Finance Transformation & Project Management portfolio, including but not limited to system changes, process enhancements and transformations across the group.
*Coordinating different stakeholders within Business units in-country and across multiple regions and being able to liaise with key stakeholders and senior management in a way that promotes the Finance PMO team and promotes trust and understanding that deliverables can be successfully achieved.
*Responsible for ensuring that a given project meets the deliverables to stakeholders' requirements
*Timely and accurate reporting and documentation to be provide on projects of ownership
*Work with SME's and Stakeholders to engage them and support on roadmap to delivery
*Provide communication (via email, meetings etc) to stakeholders on a regular basis on detailed status of the project, including risks, highlights, concerns and plans for coming duration etc.
*Escalate ay potential blockers to Head of Finance Transformation & Program Management
*Support the Head of Finance Transformation & Program Management on any overarching program deliverables as required
*Support on managing multiple project plans where required
*Preparing and leading meetings within a project
What we are looking for
*Professionally qualified finance executive (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) that has a minimum of five years post qualified experience within a Finance Shared Service environment
*Project Management qualification or demonstrable successful management of finance projects
*Understanding of risks and controls within a project to minimize any potential impacts to the business
*Ability to draw together concepts from business requirements
*Proven results in supporting on successful projects
*A collaborative attitude and strong work ethic
*Ability to flex working patterns on certain projects to provide support to stakeholders and their teams when working across multiple regions/time zones
*Experience of preparing complex "as is" and "to be" workflows
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Previous experience of large notable accounting / ERP packages
*Strong Microsoft Excel and ideally Visio
*Work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
*Thrive in a collaborative environment
*Engage stakeholders and build positive relationships
*Ideally Certification in Program Management (or looking towards obtaining)
*Ideally worked as a Project Manager or on previous finance transformation projects
*Ideally experience of creating "cost vs benefit" analysis documents and associated documentation
