Main duties include:
* Completing and reviewing monthly management accounts for the business unit
* Liaising with management teams to assess the current and future performance
* Monthly P&L reviews (gross profit, wages, contract revenue/cost and overhead analysis)
* Assisting in leading the monthly financial close process
* Developing monthly management packs and internal KPIs and MI
* Preparing VAT returns
* Producing year end audit pack and resolving queries
* Producing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
* Ad hoc projects/tasks
Key skills & experience required:
* Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Strong experience either gleaned in practice or in a fast-paced industry environment
* Strong communicator and team player
* Ability to challenge the status quo
* Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
* Self-starter who can utilise their own initiative
* Positive and proactive approach to tasks
* Career minded, keen to develop and challenge themselves
