The role has come about, as a result of an internal promotion, highlighting their commitment to development and reward. As Finance Business Partner, reporting to a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for translating data into meaning insights, aligning financial reports with business strategies and ensuring robust financial controls are in place.
Main duties include:
* Timely preparation of Management Accounts Pack, Forecasts, and Budgets.
* Review and control of Balance Sheet accounts.
* Prepare and review financial information for Board Reports.
* Manage cashflow
* Conduct monthly spend reviews with Heads of Department.
* Ensure accurate cost allocation and recharging.
* Maintain effective controls and report risk/opportunity accurately.
* Participate in audits and coordinate for the company.
* Prepare information for annual statutory reporting, including Tax Packs and Stat Packs.
* Identify and implement system and process improvements.
* Foster a strong business partnership with Heads of Departments.
* Prepare subsidiary statutory accounts.
* Drive financial planning and analysis.
* Provide KPI reporting for the Finance department.
Skills, Experience & Attributes:
* Qualified or Finalist (QBEs with highly relevant experience may also be considered)
* Clear and impactful communicator across all levels.
* Detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills.
* Proficient in Excel
* Problem solver who can devise solutions.
* Efficient in prioritization and multitasking.
* Discrete and experienced with handling confidential information.
* Highly analytical approach and comfortable dealing with large volumes of data
