Finance Business Partner
£65,000 - £75,000 + excellent benefits
Hemel Hempstead (flexible working)

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially-minded individual to join a highly successful business within a thriving sector.

The role is responsible for assisting with newly acquired businesses and ensuring proper processes and financial controls are in place.

Main Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day financial accounting function for the specific division
* The design and execution of key financial controls
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Deliver timely and accurate reporting of KPIs
* Review & identify areas of improvement in financial processes, controls & reporting
* Review and challenge financial performance information
* Build relationships between the newly acquired teams and their division
* Support and guide on preparation of annual budgets.
* Prepare annual audit file for presentation to the company's auditors
* Support ad hoc activities as requested


Key Responsibilities

* Analysis, review and challenge of Management Information
* Preparation of the annual budget and forecasting
* Management and improvements to cash flow
* Assess the existing financial processes and controls of existing and newly acquired businesses
* Implement ways of working
* Design and execution of an effective month-end close process
* Support in the development of Systems Notes
* Build relationships between newly acquired teams and their division
* Planning and co-ordination of internal and external audits
* Support ad hoc projects or activities as required

Requirements
* Must be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, ideally from a practice background
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships
* Experience implementing processes and controls
* Highly analytical, have excellent attention to detail
* Demonstrable experience of being able to build relationships across all levels
* Able to think on your feet and adapt quickly
* Excellent experience using Excel for analysis and forecasting
