Job Description
Acting as a key business partner for the area, you'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver the strategic and financial plan, providing support and challenge on commercial decision making and investment cases.
Main duties include:
* Owning investment appraisal models and post-investment review analysis
* Interrogating and challenging solutions from stakeholders to ensure they are fit for purpose and financially viable
* Identifying risks and opportunities
* Ensuring robust forecasting; latest views, budget and corporate plan
* Establishing and embedding financial processes and reporting in the respective finance teams
* Maintaining robust accounting procedures
* Participating in project meetings and acting as the voice of finance
* Business partnering and presenting to Directors on future initiatives and projects
Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Effective communicator, can influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including non-finance
* Comfortable working with ambiguity and ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
* Proactive, self-starter with a positive approach to problem solving
* Strong excel skills
* Investment modelling experience would be ideal, but strong business partners will also be considered
* Proven track record business partnering in a complex and fast-paced organisation
