Finance Assistant (Temporary 6 Months)
Madrid, Spain
€2000 - €2400 per month

An exciting role has arisen with one of our established clients, within their finance team in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will be ensuring optimal and proper management of orders, billing, stock control and company charges.

Key Responsibilities:
* Orders, billing, returns and collections
* Process product orders and resolves issues that could happen.
* Billing customers and all invoices issued through different ways such as email, courier, electronic
platforms, etc.
* Carry out the returns and inform the customer about the status of the process.
* Manage the customer cash-flow report.
* Claim debt to the customers.
* Prepare internal reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and sales evolution.
* Provide assistance in the case of an internal and outside firm's auditing of the organization.
* Logistics
* Stock control, follow up and returns management with the logistics operator.
* Monthly invoices monitoring of all logistics and transport operators.
* Elaborate the annual stock count necessary to prepare the Internal Audit in the logistics operator.

Reporting
* Preparation of all reports related to sales stock, billing, debt and other needs required by the group.
* Prepare Iberia stock and sales reports share with business team.
* Prepare the debt report.

Accounting
* Monthly customer bank closing.
* Calculation of the monthly sales provisions.
* Give support to the Finance Department.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Internal Control
* Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
* Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
* Comply with internal, local and government laws in order to prepare financial reports, requirements
and tax filings.
* Assist the Accounting Manager with projects (process improvement, implementation of new tools,
etc.)

Position Requirements:
* Business Administration bachelor degree or Economic related specialty
* 3 years accounting experience
* Spanish and intermediate English Level
* Advanced user of Great Plains or similar systems and advanced user of EXCEL
