Job Description
The client also offers a dynamic and flexible working environment, with expectations to be office only 1 - 2 days per week. Key duties include:
* Creating business cases for approval; reviewing and challenging the profit assumptions where necessary
* Running the investment meetings for formal approval of the business cases
* Working closely with the CFO regarding any queries
* Supporting the Finance Business Partner on continued improvement of business cases
* Acting as a key business partner to the Purchasing teams
* Delivering ad hoc analysis aligned to the current market conditions
* Ad hoc projects to identify potential cost reduction, margin improvement or to drive synergies
Key skills & experience required:
* Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
* Strong analysis skills and commercially astute
* Proven track record partnering with non-finance and building relationships
* Confident and credible demeanour, capable of influencing and challenging where necessary
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong excel skill necessary
