Watford (5 days per week in office)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Manager to join our client's high-end international retail business. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the business, including supporting the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
Responsibilities:
* Create the monthly accounts from relevant region as allocated (P&L, Balance Sheet and KPIs): sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger, accounts reconciliation.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and prepare monthly and annual financial reports
* Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
* Prepare and file all tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations
* Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions
* Work with senior management to develop and monitor the annual budget and financial forecasts
* Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective use of financial resources
Requirements:
* ACCA or CIMA Fully or Part-Qualified
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
* Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Understanding of Spanish language would be beneficial
