Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Web Expense and Staff Expense Claims:
* Take the lead in managing web expense and staff expense claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Become the go-to person for employees, providing guidance and support on expense policies and procedures.
* Showcase your attention to detail by thoroughly reviewing and processing expense claims promptly.
* Build strong relationships with colleagues, providing exceptional service and resolving any queries promptly.

Review of Sales Ledger Activities:
* Embrace the challenge of reviewing sales ledger activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Analyse sales data, identifying trends and insights to contribute to strategic decision-making.
* Collaborate with the team to generate comprehensive sales reports and insightful analyses.

Funder Reconciliations, P/L & S/L including HP:
* Dive into the world of financial reconciliations, including funder accounts, profit and loss (P/L), and sales ledger (S/L) with a focus on hire purchase (HP) transactions.
* Strengthen your problem-solving skills by investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
* Develop a deep understanding of the company's financial processes and systems.

Directors Expenditure:
* Take ownership of managing directors' expenditures, demonstrating your organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ensure compliance with company policies while processing and reconciling directors' expense claims.
* Gain exposure to senior leadership and contribute to the smooth functioning of executive finance operations.

Handling of Internal and External Queries and Requests:
* Thrive in a dynamic environment as the point of contact for internal and external queries and requests.
* Showcase your exceptional communication skills by providing accurate and timely responses.
* Collaborate with various stakeholders to address inquiries effectively and enhance customer satisfaction.

Assisting with the Year-End and External Auditors:
* Immerse yourself in the year-end process for the Vision Group of companies, working closely with the finance team.
* Engage with external auditors, gaining valuable insights and exposure to audit procedures.
* Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, playing a crucial role in the year-end success.

Processing Monthly Pension Contributions:
* Take charge of the monthly processing of pension contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Gain valuable knowledge of pension regulations and the importance of meticulous record-keeping.
* Develop a strong sense of responsibility in managing confidential employee information.

Monthly Reports and Reconciliation:
* Excel in preparing monthly financial reports, unleashing your analytical skills to provide valuable insights.
* Reconcile financial data meticulously, guaranteeing the integrity and accuracy of the reports.
* Collaborate with the team to present comprehensive financial information to support informed decision-making.

General Assistance to the Finance Team:

Qualifications and Skills:
* 1-2 years experience in a finance role
* Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
