Our Client, an industry leading retailer with a highly recognisable brand and without doubt one of the best local companies to work for is currently recruiting for a first class Financial Analyst. Reporting into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis you will communicate information that explains operational performance; provide operational management with high level business partnering and the information to make effective decisions; challenge the status quo and current ways of working and assist the business in the medium and long term planning of their resources and evaluation of their projects. Specifically you will work with the operational management to achieve profit targets; support business changes required for volume growth; develop weekly reporting and forecasting processes; evaluate business initiatives and monitor the performance of recent changes. Areas of focus will include Capital Spend, Stock, Labour /Transport Costs, Utility and Facility Costs and Marketing. The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) of graduate calibre, have a strong academic background and have demonstrated excellent progression to date in a large retail/FMCG business. You will be highly ambitious, have excellent Excel skills and well developed communication and influencing skills. Interview slots are booked for week commencing 23rd August.
