Our Client, a forward thinking, multi-site service business based in Hertfordshire, currently has an immediate requirement for a Commercial Accountant on a 12 month contract. This is a critical role for the business and requires a motivated and service led candidate to lead the primarily lead the reporting, analytics and budgeting for the group. The role will be highly visible with a strong operational focus and decision making responsibility. Leadership and team working will be critical with up to 5 direct reports across different financial disciplines. Managing the monthly reporting cycle plus working to complete the forthcoming budgeting work (end of Feb) will be initial short term objectives as well as being able to deal with the day to day enquiries and tasks whilst the function undertakes a structural chance and emphasis. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who is immediately available to interview and commence the contract. You will have strong people/management skills and be a technically strong accountant with a good level of MS Excel.
